Welcome to Future Fashion Fair’s Monthly Newsletter

Firstly, thank you to all those who attended the Top Swap last month. We had a blast and was great meeting old and new faces of the community. We look forward to hosting more swap shops, so keep your eyes peeled!

This month we are launching the Access to Textile Waste (A2TW) Working Group.
which aims to contribute to the generation of an infrastructure in which all different reuse initiatives —such as reworking, upcycling, rental schemes, buy or trade etc. — can flourish within the wider circular economy of fashion and textiles.

We believe that textile reuse practitioners can serve as a transitional solution to the textile waste problem and play a vital role in addressing it.

We are now opening up interest in the A2TW Working Group to our wider community

What’s going on this October?…

Join us for a Clothes Swap at the Wai Yin Centre, Manchester on Wednesday 23rd October, as FFF teams up with In Our Nature to bring you a Clothes Swap ‘Winter Warmers’ Edition.

We’ll be swapping warm coats, jackets, jumpers, and hats for free!

This event is more than just swapping clothes—it's a community-driven experience for those engaging in the circular fashion economy! Enjoy some snacks, chat and of course swap!

How it works:

Date: Wednesday 23rd October swap starts from 12.30-3pm (drop off time 11am-12pm).
